Tell us what you want removed.
Email info@smart-businesssolutions.com with “Smart Meal Shelf data deletion request” in the subject. Tell us the email address connected to the account and the data or list you want removed. A request can be made in writing or verbally; email gives us a clear record.
Examples of data you can ask us to remove
- a recipe, note, favourite or personal list;
- an invitation or your access to a shared list;
- support correspondence, where there is no reason we need to retain it;
- your account information, by using the Account Deletion route.
When deletion may be limited
The right to erasure is not absolute. We may need to keep limited data where it remains necessary for a legal obligation, a payment or tax record, security and fraud prevention, a dispute or legal claim, or to protect the rights of another list user. We will explain the reason if we cannot erase all requested data.
Shared recipes and other people’s content
Deleting your copy of a shared recipe does not automatically remove a copy already saved to another user’s private list. If you own a shared list, use Account Deletion or tell us the scope you want reviewed. We will respect other users’ separate rights and access.
