When the membership feature is live, a free account may save up to 20 recipes and create personal lists. A £2.49 one-time Lifetime Membership unlocks unlimited recipes and creating or managing shared recipe lists. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
1. Accounts and acceptable use
You must use a single account for your own email address and keep sign-in details secure. Email addresses are treated case-insensitively. Smart Meal Shelf is for people aged 13 or over. Use the service lawfully and do not attempt to access another user’s account or list, disrupt the service, upload harmful material, or use the service to infringe another person’s rights.
2. Recipe content and sharing
You keep responsibility for content you add, including recipes, notes, images, links and invites. Make sure you have the right to save and share it. A list owner controls invitation and editing rights; users with access can view the shared material. More detail is in the Recipe Content & Sharing Policy.
3. Payments and lifetime membership
Payments are processed through Stripe’s hosted checkout. Stripe handles card and payment details under its own terms and privacy information; SBS does not store full card numbers. The price shown in checkout is the price payable and any applicable tax information will be displayed there. An administrator may grant an equivalent lifetime membership without payment. Lifetime access applies to the account credited at the time of payment or grant and cannot be sold or transferred.
4. Service availability, closure and refunds
Lifetime Membership is a one-time payment for the paid features while Smart Meal Shelf is available; it is not a promise that the service will operate forever. A temporary outage, maintenance period, interruption caused by a third party, or a decision to withdraw the service does not by itself create a right to a refund, credit or compensation. If we decide to close the service, we will aim to give reasonable advance notice and a practical opportunity to export your saved recipes where feasible. No refund is available solely because Smart Meal Shelf is discontinued, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Your statutory consumer rights are not excluded. In particular, this clause does not limit any remedy that the law gives you if paid digital content is not supplied as described, is faulty, or we otherwise fail to meet our legal obligations. If checkout asks you to begin receiving digital features immediately, it will present any required acknowledgement about cancellation rights. For a payment or refund question, email us with the payment email and reference; do not send card details. We may change the service to improve security, comply with law or develop features. We will not charge a recurring fee for Lifetime Membership.
5. Availability and contact
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every imported webpage or social post can be read. We may suspend access to investigate a security issue or misuse. Contact info@smart-businesssolutions.com with any concern.
